What to expect

European Utility Week is an international exhibition aiming to bring together stakeholders in the field of smart energy innovation. It brings together 18,000 of Europe’s thought leaders and visionaries behind the world’s most successful utilities and solution providers and you can be part of a 3-day event and explore innovations and technologies helping to transform the utility landscape.

Apart from the trade fair itself, the organizers also provide an extensive and compelling accompanying programme ranging from Hub Sessions to Summits about which you can learn more at their website. European Utility Week is the place where the entire community of smart utility professionals meets!

ZD.B & EASY-RES @ European Utility Week 2019

The ZD.B thematic platform “Digitalization in the Energy Sector" addresses all areas of the digital energy transition. In particular the use of digital technology to manage network congestion problems, the efficient network reinforcement, the regional use of flexibility, energy efficiency, integrated energy management, the integration of renewable energies and the mobility- and heating transformation. Our goal: Promoting Bavaria’s energy future through digitalization in a sustainable way.

EASY-RES is a European research project of the thematic platform in cooperation with 11 partners in 6 EU countries. We develop novel control algorithms and innovative ancillary services, which will allow the penetration of up to 100% of renewable energy sources in the European energy system.

EASY-RES will be part of the European Utility Week 2019. Meet us at the Bavarian Pavilion – Pavillion 1 / Stand C140 and exchange knowledge, ideas and thoughts about the digitalization of the energy industry and a future of sustainable energy.
